The hotel has a fantastic location near the train station and Grand Canal, perfect for exploring. Unfortunately, the lack of an on-site reception was inconvenient.

The staff members, especially Lisa and Jelea, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to provide helpful local advice, making our stay more enjoyable.

The hotel desperately needs renovation, especially the bathrooms, which had noticeable issues like black mold and malfunctioning shower doors.

Wonderful location just steps from the Grand Canal. we enjoyed the convenience of being near the train station and vaporetto stops. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff was friendly and helpful with room changes.

The room was enormous, featuring a double bed and two singles—perfect for a solo traveler like myself. Two large windows provided breathtaking views of the Grand Canal. The staff was polite and breakfast was a delightful start to my day. An excellent base for exploring the area!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Airone, especially due to its fantastic location near the Grand Canal. The view from my room was breathtaking, allowing me to observe the charming Venetian life right outside my window. Additionally, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive.

We stayed here with our dogs, and the location was perfect for exploring Venice. The kids loved the spacious rooms, especially the stunning views overlooking the canals. Check-in was smooth, just be ready to show ID for everyone in the family.

However, the hotel was in the midst of repairs, which left the ambiance lacking, with piles of laundry and maintenance equipment visible near my room. The heating system didn't work well either, making the nights uncomfortably warm. Breakfast was enjoyable, featuring complimentary bread that added a nice touch.

The location proved convenient, only a 15-minute walk from the port making it easy to manage luggage. While our room was clean and the towels were replenished, the experience was marred by significant discomfort—bed bugs in two different rooms caused sleepless nights. Although the staff offered to refund one night due to the issue, they later failed to follow through, which left us feeling dissatisfied. Despite these problems, the presence of fresh smoked salmon at breakfast was a nice touch that added to the dining experience.

Good value for a home base in Venice!

This place offers basic accommodation but excels with friendly staff who provided local tips. Breakfast selections were sufficient, especially the fresh pastries. Be aware that some rooms may be less appealing. Perfect for those seeking budget-friendly options without sacrificing central location.
